Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of SupplyUp, an Egypt-based B2B marketplace connecting verified Egyptian exporters with global importers, to discover suppliers and products, send inquiries, create RFQs, and communicate. By using the platform you agree to these terms and the related policies.
1. Acceptance & eligibility
- By using the platform you confirm you act for business purposes, are authorized to bind your company, and are at least 18.
- If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Accounts and roles
- Account and company information must be accurate, current, and submitted by an authorized person.
- Buyers, suppliers, and admins have different permissions based on role and verification state.
- You are responsible for your credentials and account activity.
3. The platform's role
- SupplyUp is a venue for discovery and communication; it is not a party to the commercial contracts between users.
- We do not manufacture, own, or sell listed products and do not guarantee their quality, safety, legality, or availability.
4. Supplier obligations
- Product details, prices, images, certifications, and documents must be accurate, not misleading, and lawful to use.
- Profiles and documents may be reviewed by admins; verification badges are trust signals, not guarantees.
- Suppliers must respond professionally and comply with applicable laws, including export controls.
5. Buyer obligations
- Use the platform for legitimate commercial sourcing only — no spam, scraping, or unserious requests.
- Buyers are responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and terms before any off-platform agreement.
6. Prohibited use
- Fraud, impersonation, harmful/unlawful uploads, unauthorized-access attempts, scraping, and abuse of messaging/RFQ workflows are prohibited.
- Do not upload files that infringe third-party rights or contain malware (SVG image uploads are not permitted).
7. Content & intellectual property
- You retain ownership of your content and grant us a non-exclusive license to display and operate it within the platform.
- Respect others' IP; rights holders may file an infringement notice handled under our IP policy.
- SupplyUp marks and platform elements remain our property.
8. Verification & trust badges
- Suppliers are verified only by deliberate admin action; there is no automatic promotion to "verified".
- A badge reflects evidence reviewed at issuance and is not a continuing guarantee.
9. Fees
- During the current phase, core services are provided without fees; future fees will be announced in advance.
- The platform does not currently include payment, escrow, trade protection, or logistics.
10. Third-party services & links
- We rely on service providers (hosting, email, analytics), and the platform may link to external sites we do not control.
11. Disclaimers
- The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or lost profits from use of the platform or any transaction between users.
13. Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, misuse, or infringement of third-party rights.
14. Suspension & termination
- We may suspend/terminate access or remove content when terms are breached or misuse creates risk.
- You may terminate your account at any time from settings.
15. Governing law & disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt; the courts of [Cairo, Egypt] have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms and revise the "Last updated" date; continued use constitutes acceptance.
